COVID-19 Information

Headteacher's latest update – June 2021

There is an increase in the numbers of students in the local area who are being asked to self-isolate and who are testing positive with COVID-19. We are, therefore, asking all those coming onto site to still adhere to our COVID measures and are strongly recommending that those who can do engage with the home testing programme. If you require further information about testing, please contact in the first instance.

Within our current COVID guidance, you will find links to the relevant pages re NHS Test and Trace, Self-isolating and travel guidance. Warwickshire Public Health and the school are working closely together and we will respond as directed by them and in line with national guidance.

Our COVID measures and risk assessment have both been updated to reflect the current guidance. Most significantly, all adults should be wearing a face covering within communal spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained at 2m+, unless exempt.

Our risk assessment, which our Governors have agreed, is based on the most recent guidance from the DfE (24 May 2021) and remains a working document. Governors and the SLT review the risk assessment regularly and update it in accordance with our lived experience in school and/or updates from the DfE. from the DfE.

For those coming on site, we have measures in place to make sure that our students, staff and visitors are safe. We ask all those coming on site to be familiar with our COVID measures and to understand that they need to adhere to these while here. Please be aware that at the present time, in line with the DfE guidance, we are limiting visitors but anticipate that as lockdown is released further, we will be able to welcome more people onto site, particularly prospective students.

Should you require further information about the procedures on site or visiting the school, please email the Head’s PA in the first instance -

Kind regards,

Jacqui Cornell
