Diana Brownhill

It is with the greatest of sadness that we share the news of the death of our colleague and friend, Diana Brownhill. Diana died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Easter Sunday, 27 March.

Diana will be deeply missed by all the staff and alumnae that knew her, leaving behind a plethora of fond memories and feelings of immense gratitude for the difference she made to the lives of those of us who knew her. She was truly an extraordinary lady, and her death is a great loss to Shottery and the local community as a whole.

Her funeral will be for family and close friends only, and there will be a celebration of her life at some point in the future. Once there are more details to share, we will be in touch. In the meantime, if you have condolences, memories or pictures you would like to share, the next edition of our alumnae newsletter, “The Shottery Link”, will feature a celebration of Diana and we’d love to hear from you.  Please get in touch with Camilla Harrison in the first instance by email:  Harrison.c@sggs.org.uk
