Computing
All students take Computing in Years 7 to 9 and many continue it to GCSE. It prepares students to work, live and play in the digital world, as well as providing an excellent foundation for further study in a wide range of business, technical and creative courses.

OCR GCSE in computing - J275

In Years 10 and 11 students will study the OCR GCSE in Computing. This exciting GCSE gives you an excellent opportunity to investigate how computers work and how
they’re used, and to develop computer programming and problem-solving skills. You’ll also do some fascinating in-depth research and practical work. For example, some of the current investigations look at JavaScript, encryption and assembly language programming.
