Exams & Assessment

The Examinations Office is responsible for the organisation of all public examinations, internal trial examinations and University admissions tests. The Examinations Office adhere to The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and is run by the Examinations Manager and a team of trained Invigilators. It is the aim of the Examinations team to make the examination experience pleasant and successful as possible for all candidates. 


Dates for internal trial examinations, exam contingency days and results days in August can be found on the school calendar. Public examinations are held in May and June with MFL speaking exams during April and May. Candidates will be issued with a booklet covering exam guidance in advance of their examinations.

Examination boards used are AQA, OCR, Pearson and WJEC/Eduqas.
