  • Year 8 - ELD Geography Field Trip

    Year 8 visited Stratford-upon-Avon on a Geography field trip for ELD this year.  It was an enjoyable and interesting experience which helped to widen our knowledge of Stratford as both a tourist destination and a historic town.  The first thing the girls did was to find their way to a six figure reference near the old Brass Rubbing Centre to register.

  • Shottery Girls Present to Stratford Business Forum Breakfast

    On Friday 20 November, Olympic Rower, Matt Gotrel was invited to be the guest speaker at the Stratford Business Forum Breakfast meeting.  The Stratford upon Avon Boat Club was selected as the ‘Charity of the Day’and they had 5 – 10 minutes to make a presentation to all the businesses in the room.  The girls in the J14 performance squad were chosen to give the presentation, and they are all Shottery girls!  Here, Hermione tells us about the experience...

  • ELD - Religious Studies

    Year 11 ELD, organised by the RS department, proved to be both challenging and informative. The day, which was organised around speakers and a film, enabled us to meet people who didn’t share the same views as ourselves and therefore allowed us to challenge our own point of view and form arguments to debate theirs, particularly on issues our GCSE course covers.  Here, Year 11's Sarah tells us more.
