SGGS Student Scoops Bronze at the English Alpine Ski Championships
Year 9 student, Glesni Catlin competed in the 2018 English Alpine Championships in Bormio, Italy over the February half term. Representing Great Britain, she beat stiff competition to scoop Bronze in the U16 Giant Slalom race.
The English Alpine Championships are organised by Snowsport England, the national governing body for snow sport in England that is responsible for growing participation in snow sports through direct funding from Sport England.
Glesni is off to Tignes, France over the Easter break to complete the 2017/18 season, and then returns to the UK for some rest and relaxation before starting her training regime for next year.
Well done, Glesni - what an incredible achievement!
