Extra Curricular
Enrichment & Extra-Curricular Opportunities
At Stratford Girls’ Grammar School, enrichment is at the heart of school life. Whether it’s exploring robotics and dissection, performing with the orchestra or jazz band, or taking to the pitch for netball or cricket, every student has the opportunity to discover new interests and develop lifelong skills.
Our vibrant programme includes everything from debating, mock magistrates and law society to cookery, creative writing, and even Japanese and British Sign Language. In the Sixth Form, Wednesday afternoons are set aside for personal development beyond academics, with Subject Ambassadors leading clubs such as training jazz band, nature club and eco-committee for younger students.
These activities not only boost confidence and wellbeing, but also inspire creativity, critical thinking, and a stronger sense of community. Whether you're singing in one of our choirs, supporting others in the Young Carers or LGBTQ+ society, or launching a business through Young Enterprise, there’s something here to spark every student’s curiosity.
With nearly 80% of students involved in two or more clubs each week, SGGS offers a truly exceptional enrichment experience. Explore the timetable below to see what’s happening!
