Students Launch our Brand New School Magazine: The Spark!

We are delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new student-written school newspaper, created by members of the School Magazine extracurricular club. The first edition will be available to purchase this week for £2, with copies on sale to parents at tomorrow’s Awards Afternoon and to students at lunchtimes throughout this week and next.

Led by Ms McLarnon and Ms Litterick, the newspaper is the result of hard work and creativity from students across all year groups. This exciting first edition, themed around ‘Red’, is packed with original content including poetry and short stories, thoughtful film reviews, celebrations of fellow students’ accolades, news from recent trips, and helpful revision tips.

The publication has been brought to life by an inspiring team of writers and editors. Writers Zoe, Olivia, Kalinka, Caitlin, Milla, Helena, Juliet, Eleanor, Eleanor, and Orla have contributed a rich variety of articles and creative pieces that reflect the voices and interests of our school community. The Co-Editors: Alice, Petra, Adrija, Aline, Gurvi, Mia, Rosie, Thalia, Adhya, Olivia, Ria, Izzy, Eirene, Noor and Macy have worked with incredible dedication to shape and refine every page.

This newspaper is written by students for students and is a brilliant showcase of the journalistic flair and creative skills being developed within our school. It stands as a testament to the talent, teamwork and ambition of the next generation of writers and editors.

Don’t miss your chance to pick up a copy for £2 at the Awards Afternoon or during lunchtimes over the coming days.
